Skiing on Purgatory Mountain with the Adapted Sports Program at Durango Ski Resort. My first time skiing in the mountains. An incredible experience! The instructors and volunteers in the adapted ski program were the best, and the scenery was breathtaking. Enjoy these photos from DawnZ's Big Adventure!

Disabled Sit Ski Program


Seminar & Ski Lessons
When: Saturday, February 14, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
When: Sunday, February 15, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Madison Winter Festival will offer a Sit Ski Program for people with physical disabilities.

Participants can attend a seminar at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum followed by a skiing session on the Capitol Square.

Equipment will be provided.

Volunteers will instruct and assist with lifts and transfers for skiers on both days.
