At first I thought this would be my only year doing this event but now after completing it I look forward to doing better next year. (I think he's got the bug )

Brad Dakan - Birkie 2011
Brad states "the race itself was a lot of fun to be a part of". Several able bodies racers gave me words of encouragement as they passed by me - it boosted my energy level. The race was only a 3K but it felt much longer and I'm grateful for my student helpers that helped with some pushes every so often to get me over some small hills - it gave my arms a needed break.
