“I am signed up for a volunteer email list which presents volunteer opportunities and saw the entry for Achilles. It seemed like a neat idea and I decided to volunteer.”
- Stephanie
"We are so fortunate to have Stephanie as a volunteer; she brings such happy and positive energy to our group. It's just awesome having such young adults working with this Achilles team - it gives everyone a smile just seeing her help out and giving so much of her time each week. Stephanie is always there when we need her - she was just incredibly helpful and fun at the Hope and Possibility races in Minnesota and New York, we can't thank her enough. Her smile is so very contagious - thank you for lighting up our lives with it." - Kimmer
Our Wisconsin Achilles Club would not be so successful and enjoyable without the generosity of our volunteers. Each week we will be posting an online “Thank You” for one of our exceptional volunteers. First up, Ms. Stephanie.
Stephanie started volunteering with Achilles in September of 2005. She is working in Minnesota this summer-that’s how she got her magnificent tan- and will be back in Madison, volunteering with us August 12, 2007 – also she’ll be back in school at the UW.
Happy, gracious, willing, empathetic, honest, go-getter, sunny, enthusiastic, and fun are just a few words to describe Stephanie.
Stephanie was at the Hope & Possibilities Run/Walk in Minnesota in June of 2006. She was also with us in June of 2007 for the Hope & Possibilities Run/Walk in New York City!
